Apocalypse Clown is a climate crisis clown who is thriving to survive.
She wears a mask to protect against wildfire smoke & airborne illnesses, and fashioned herself an, “inner tutube” to prepare for rising water.
Say hello when you see her, she can mime you an endangered species animal balloon.
Apocalypse Clown was initially developed at Rockland Woods Fall residency in 2020.
A solo performance, stage piece was developed in 2024 while in residence at Lookout Arts Quarry.

In October, 2025, Apocalypse Clown was a vendor at the Capitol Hill Swap Meet (CHASM) and will be at a few other markets in late 2025, selling her wares and sharing her temporary tattoos.
She also completed a clown course that she highly recommends!
Yes, I have seen the movie with the same title. It’s fantastic, you should watch it if you haven’t seen it yet! I reside in Seattle, WA and came up with the name in 2020. I bought the domain name apocalypseclown(dot)com and have it forwarding to this website. The movie was released in Ireland in 2023 so they may have came up with the title around the same time – 2020 was a wild year! Our concepts are different. We both use the hashtag.
